The year began with a lot of plans. Some got postponed and some got cancelled. What remained intact was my resolution of reading one book per month. Though I was a voracious reader during my school days , I somehow lost this hobby during college and work life. I once again tried to revive this habit and started the year by reading a fiction named “Nothing Ventured” by Jeffrey Archer. I read this book in the month of January but never got enough time in Jan to write about it.
Nothing ventured inspired by Clifton Chronicles is a stand alone detective novel by Archer. Readers who like the thriller genre would enjoy reading this book. Written in extremely simple language, the novel is interesting and a good read. If you are new to reading fiction or even if you have never read Jeffrey Archer before, still this book is good enough to begin with. Events unfold at an apt pace and the book doesn’t unnecessarily drag the plot. So go ahead, grab an e-book and start reading.
